Sam is a third year Neuroscience PhD student in the Jones Lab. She graduated from the University of Tennessee - Chattanooga with a bachelor’s degree in biochemistry and a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering. Sam joined the Jones Lab in Summer of 2024, and her research aims to focus on the role of the locus coeruleus in the dysregulation of circadian rhythms after stress. Outside of the lab, Sam enjoys playing softball in a local adult league, walking her pup - Bucket, and snuggling with her two cats - Izzy and Cleo.
